Scraper Conveyor Installation Steps

Before installing the scraper conveyor, it is necessary to install it after the transfer tower and silo are completed. All scraper conveyors should be installed and adjusted according to geological parameters and drawings.

Installation steps of scraper conveyor:
1. Marking;
2. Check the civil construction, check the conditions of anchor bolts and embedded steel plates;
3. Check the position of each component of the scraper conveyor;
Install the truss according to the anchor bolts;
5. Install and adjust equipment (including upper and lower idlers, wipers, drive devices, etc.);
6. Install the belt elevator;
7. Install the expansion head;
8. Install the guide chute;
9. Install the tensioning device;
10. Install all electrical supports;
11. Tape cutting and vulcanization connection.

Installation steps for the electrical part of the scraper conveyor:
1. Install cable conduit;
2. Install limit switches, protective devices, electrical control cabinets, etc;
3. Install electric lights;
4. Laying cables;
5. Connect the electric wire.

At the end of the installation of the scraper conveyor, the damaged parts of the paint shall be repaired and sprayed according to the technical specifications. Secondly, add grease or lubricating oil to the following scraper conveyor equipment according to the procedures specified in the lubricating oil operation manual: speed reducer, coupling, crane, bearing block, motor bearing, etc.
