Scraper conveyor is an important transportation tool used for transporting materials in coal mines, chemical mines, metal mines, and power plants. It is composed of a central groove, chain, scraper, and traction system. Among them, the central groove is the main part of the scraper conveyor, and the steel central groove has a history of nearly a hundred years. In the long-term use process, there are the following shortcomings:
① Large weight, time-consuming and laborious installation and handling;
② The middle groove is generally made of 6-15mm steel plates, which are prone to deformation and difficult to repair when subjected to large impacts;
③ Poor corrosion resistance;
④ Poor wear resistance;
⑤ The friction coefficient between the material and the middle groove is high, and the power of the scraper conveyor is mostly consumed by the friction between the material and the middle groove, resulting in excessive energy consumption and increased investment.
