For the coal mining scraper conveyor, the idler is one of its core components. The stability of the conveying process and the conveying efficiency are largely determined by it. From the perspective of the manufacturer, some basic performance indicators of the roller can still be achieved, but the key technology is not involved. The performance indicators of the idler roller in the buried scraper conveyor include the outer radial radial runout of the idler roller, the axial load, the axial shift, and the drop test. These indicators have low technical content, but are not for idler production key technologies.
One of the so-called key technologies is the manufacturing accuracy of the idler roller. In the past, the method was to use cast iron bearing seats to process stepped holes at the two ends of the idler roller body and press-fit them. However, after the improvement, stamped bearing seats are gradually used, small step holes are processed at both ends of the roller tube body, and carbon dioxide gas shielded welding is used for production.
