The en-masse conveyor is a transportation device that uses the scraper chain moving in the closed shell to transport bulk materials according to the predetermined target. The difference between the structure and the scraper conveyor is that the open material trough is replaced by a closed section conveyor trough, and other components are basically the same.
2. Different application industries
The en-masse conveyor is widely used for conveying materials such as cement, grain, feed, etc. Scraper conveyor is widely used in the coal industry.
3. Different conveying forms
Scraper conveyor is generally used for horizontal or inclined conveying with an inclination of no more than 30 °, while en-masse conveyor enable horizontal, inclined or vertical conveying of materials, enabling multi-point feeding and unloading.
4. Different working principles
The en-masse conveyor is a conveyor that uses scraper chains to transport bulk materials in sealed grooves. Its working principle is similar to that of the scraper conveyor, except that the en-masse conveyor relies more on the internal friction and lateral pressure of materials to complete the transportation of materials during the transportation process.
