(1) During the period when the scraper conveyor starts to be put into operation, attention should be paid to checking the looseness and tightness of the scraper chain, because the connection between the chutes will be narrowed due to the operation of the spacing. And the chain is too loose there will be stuck chain, jumping chain, broken chain and chain off the road accident . The checking method is to reverse the conveyor and count the number of slack chain rings, if there are more than two completely slack chain rings, then the chain needs to be re-tightened.
(2) The working surface of the scraper conveyor should be kept straight. If the working surface is not straight, it will make the tension of the two chains unequal, which will lead to uneven wear of the chain or make the bottom chain fall off the road, get stuck or break the chain.
(3)The bending of the conveyor should be appropriate, do not appear "sharp bend", should make the bending part is not less than eight sections of the chute, the push should pay attention to the front and back of the hydraulic jack to cooperate with each other, to avoid sharp bends. Otherwise, it will cause the chute wrong mouth, resulting in chain breakage and chain loss accidents, special attention should be paid to the conveyor can not be pushed when stopped.
(4) The scraper conveyor should be laid flat. Due to the limitations of the structure of the chute, it can only adapt to changes in the vertical direction of 3'-5', so the bottom plate of the working surface, such as localized concave and convex should be leveled. And conveyor laying flat is conducive to the operation of the scraper chain, which can reduce the wear and tear of the chute and reduce power consumption.
(5) When blasting, the conveyor drive part and pipeline, unit cable, switch and so on must be well protected. When the conveyor transports iron and long materials, safety measures should be established to avoid personal accidents.
(6) The overlap between the end of the transition chute and the middle chute is not allowed to have a big bend, and when there is a bend, it should be cushioned with wooden boards.
(7) Pay special attention to the vibration of the coupling, check the vibration of the hydraulic coupling when scraper conveyor is started, and in order to protect the good heat dissipation conditions, the protective cover plate and the hydraulic coupling should be cleaned frequently.
