The chain scraper conveyor rolls on the track, with less wear and tear, and is obviously better than screw conveyors and buried scraper conveyors in terms of powder and small particles. There are many reasons that cause scraper to break chain. Today I will briefly introduce some common reasons that cause scraper to break chain.
(1) The chain is suddenly stuck during operation. If the chute is misaligned, the scraper or chain link is hung. During operation, one end of a rigid object is placed in the chute, and the other end is stuck on the coal gang or the conveyor gang or other fixed objects next to the machine. Will have a great impact on the scraper chain, causing it to break. In addition, because the roof of the roadway is not high enough, the machine head is high. When the large coal or vermiculite is transported to the machine head, it is stuck between the conveyor and the roof;
(2) The chain of the chain scraper conveyor is too tight, which not only increases the initial tension of the chain and shortens its service life. When the chain is scratched, there is no room for buffering and the tension load of the chain ring is increased.
(3) The chain links of the two chains are not the same (the wear of one chain is more severe than the other), so that all the loads are concentrated on one chain, causing it to break.
