Because of its solid structure, the chain scraper conveyor can withstand the impact of coal, gangue or other hard materials, such as impact, collision, smashing, pressure and other external forces; but because it is prone to chain breakage, it seriously affects the safety production of the entire coal preparation plant . Therefore, it is very important to analyze and prevent the causes of broken link accidents.
(1) Insist on using fluid couplings to reduce the dynamic load and impact load on the chain of the scraper chain conveyor and prolong the service life of the chain.
(2) After the scraper chain of the scraper chain conveyor has been used for a period of time, remove the chain and turn it over 90° to continue using it, exchange the position of the horizontal chain and the vertical chain link, and extend the service life of the chain by changing its wear parts.
(3) When there is too much coal in the chute, it must be cleaned manually and the equipment cannot be forced to start.
(4) Adjust the tightness of the chain of the chain scraper conveyor in time, neither too loose nor too tight. The deformed scraper, connecting ring, and connecting ring should be replaced in time.
(5) Design a protection device that is simple in structure, reliable in principle, sensitive in action, stable and durable to monitor broken and oblique chains, so as to prevent it in advance.
